My Quake Page

Quake! Quake has to be my all time favorite game so far. Quake is originally where I got my nickname "courVier". My name before that was -[wILL]-, My brother scripted that and I just happend to use that name in Quake. I play quake a lot on the internet and sometimes on the LAN. I have made many sound add ons for quake. You can get all my quake files below.

I have spent a lot of time making sounds for quake. When I downloaded some other sound add ons from other sites I thought they were a litte stupid and playing deathmatch with them was'nt fun at all so I modified some of them to my likings. I think my versions is more playable them others.

Pak Homer Butthead Jim MstQuake FragSnds

These are the sounds I am currently using for playing quake. These sounds really put you into the game and are pretty good, I think. Basically when you get items it plays songs and stuff. This is made for deathmatch only. This replaces your deathmatch sounds with homer simpson sounds that I have put together. This sound pak is pretty funny. If you want some laughs get this one. This replaces your deathmatch sounds with butthead sounds from "Beavis and Butthead" that I have put together. This replaces your deathmatch sounds with Jim Carrey sounds that I have put together. This replaes a lot of sounds including monsters and almost everything else. This is great if your playing single player or deathmatch. This replaces deathmatch sounds with some cool death sounds and more. Pretty good I think.

Those of you who are wandering how everyone makes those cool colored names in quake, I have a program that is easy to use and can make names for quake really fast. Although you could edit it using the "edit" program in dos which alows you to make animations for your name. In the future I might post some scripts that has some neat animation for you to use in quake.

The most funest thing about quake is the ability to play on the net. I mainly Like to play free for all. I have met a lot of people and had LOTS of fun playing quake on the net.

Raider LPB - My friend Jesse, who helped me with the doom2 speed runs we did. His CPU is right next to mine. Chaos LPB - All the lpb's are my friends, but I have to say my favorite lpb is chaos, He's that Disco freak who loves to play quake and is really funny. Mr.foo LPB - Mr.foo originally started the LPB's. He used to kick everyone's ass a long time ago when everyone used the keyboard:) I dont think he plays anymore though. Pickle - Cool quake player who plays late at night Whiteboy or now known as Greedy -smurf- - Was the first quake player I seen who was real awesome. He used to come on the server I played on and kicked everyone's ass. He is the best quake player I have ever met. He was the one who tought me how to use the mouse for quake. He was the one who told me to use Mouse button1 for fire and Mouse button2 to move forward. Not many people use mouse button2 to move forward in 3d games. But I strongly think that whiteboy is right about that, it allows you to have more quick movements in 3d games. I dont think he plays quake much anymore.
